Nicki Curran Scholarship Fund

The Floral Park Neighborhood lost a longtime resident, friend, and the Docent Coordinator for many years to the Floral Park Home & Garden Tour, Nicki Curran, on August 21, 2022. Nicki lived much of her life in the City of Santa Ana. Her paternal grandparents built a home on Victoria Drive in Floral Park in 1939, and Nicki lived for many years in a house nearby on Santa Clara Avenue.

Nicki and her wonderful dog Copper were a fixture at the Floral Park Home & Garden Tour, often seen dashing about on a cart to deal with Docent issues during the annual Home Tour. She was a friend to so many in the neighborhood and loved to tell stories about growing up in Floral Park, sliding down the banister in her grandparent’s house as a 6-year old, or getting stuck in the residential elevator of her grandparent’s home in Floral Park with her brother.

A memorial service for Nicki Curran was held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at La Purisima Church, 11712 N. Hewes, Orange, CA 92869.
